Rachel & Tyler's wedding transformed Yangaro into an elegant waterfront destination, where 130 guests gathered to celebrate beneath a beautifully styled marquee overlooking the Coral Sea.

From an intimate ceremony to a sophisticated reception filled with incredible styling on our beachfront lawn, fine hospitality and dancing under the stars, every detail reflected relaxed luxury in the heart of the Whitsundays.

LOVE NOTES FROM THE COUPLE

Why did you choose Yangaro for your wedding celebration?
We chose Yangaro due to the spectacular scenery with beautiful manicured grounds to the gorgeous water views of the Whitsundays. We loved the ability to have a wedding where we could host our guest so close to our special day. We loved how secluded the area was, it made it feel like the destination was a hidden gem. The houses at Yangaro were all so unique and beautiful, we knew our guest staying at the location would be so well accommodated and very satisfied. Our Yangaro wedding made it feel like a holiday for all guest.
What is your favourite memory from the day?
Our favourite memory of the day was most importantly saying our “I Do” in-front of all our family and friends at a location that represented us. Besides the obvious, we really loved the cocktail hour watching the sun come down mingling with our guests. The photos turned out fantastic, we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
What advice would you give other couples looking to plan a destination wedding?
Ensuring you have a good team around you like the Yangaro team who made leading up to and the ‘day of’ a breeze. Another good piece of advice is to find a location that represents you both best as a couple; we visited many venues/locations, but when we seen Yangaro we knew it was the one.
Additional Comments
The Yangaro team; the planners and the coordinators were all so incredible on the lead to our day. They were incredibly attentive and nothing was ever an issue. They done everything they could to make our day run as smoothly as possible, including for all our guest as-well. From set up to pack down, the whole Yangaro were there every step of the way and we couldn’t be more thankful.
